Lilium Expands Partnership with Luxaviation to Enhance Air Mobility Infrastructure
In Geneva/Munich on 27th May 2024, Lilium N.V. (NASDAQ), pioneer of the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and a leader in regional air mobility, announced an expanded partnership with Luxaviation Group, one of the world’s largest business aircraft and helicopter operators.
The expansion will use ExecuJet’s FBOs network, including new locations, to create electrified ground infrastructure for the Lilium Jet. Initially, this will focus on key European markets, with further sites planned in the Middle East.
ExecuJet, part of Luxaviation Group, leads in ground handling, providing premier facilities for business aircraft, passengers, and crew worldwide. Earlier this month, ExecuJet expanded to 141 FBOs following its acquisition of Sky Valet. This extensive network of FBOs will support the Lilium Jet’s growing presence across the EMEA region.
One area targeted for electrification is ExecuJet’s expanded presence in France. In collaboration with EDEIS, a leading French engineering and construction firm. This initiative includes Aix-en-Mille, strategically located in the South of France near Aix-en-Provence.
